Early Career Pathfinder – Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and participation in the Early Career Pathfinder course (the “Course”), operated by Early Careers Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By enrolling, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legal agreement between you and Early Careers Ltd. We encourage you to read them carefully before purchasing or accessing the Course.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to purchase or enrol in the Course.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to do so.
The Course is open to participants worldwide, provided local laws do not prohibit online learning purchases from the United Kingdom.
3. Course Access
Access to the Course is provided immediately upon successful payment via Stripe.
Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and complete the Course content for your own educational use.
You agree not to share your login details, distribute materials, or permit others to access the Course using your account.
We reserve the right to monitor access to ensure fair and secure use.
4. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
By completing your purchase, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and acknowledge that we do not store your full card details on our servers.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
In some cases, your bank or card provider may apply additional charges such as currency conversion or transaction fees, for which we are not responsible.
5. Refunds
Refunds are available only under the following conditions:
- You have not accessed or completed any stage of the Course, and
- Your refund request is made within 14 days of purchase.
Gift purchases are non-refundable once redeemed.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the same payment method used at checkout.
We may deduct reasonable administrative costs or Stripe transaction fees where applicable.
To request a refund, contact pathfinder@earlycareers.co.uk with your purchase details.
6. Digital Content Rights
All Course materials — including videos, text, audio, AI tools, and related resources — are protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, personal right to view and interact with the Course content for educational use only.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, resell, or publicly distribute any part of the Course or its materials without our written consent.
Breach of this condition may result in removal of access without refund and potential legal action.
7. AI Adviser and Guidance
The Course includes access to “Carly”, our AI Careers Adviser. Carly provides general educational and career exploration guidance only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You are responsible for your own career decisions and outcomes.
All data shared with Carly is used solely for the purpose of delivering the Course experience and improving the quality of learner support. We do not share, sell, or transmit any learner data to third parties, external AI systems, or commercial algorithms.
Carly operates entirely within our own secure environment and is not connected to external AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, or Meta. Your messages and responses are stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR and are never used for marketing, profiling, or resale.
We may, from time to time, use aggregated and anonymised information (for example, the percentage of learners who identified particular career interests or attraction themes) for internal reporting or research purposes. This data will never include personal identifiers or individual learner information.
8. Technical Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that your device, browser, and internet connection meet the technical requirements needed to access the Course.
We are not responsible for interruptions, slow performance, or loss of access caused by your connection, hardware, or software.
Scheduled maintenance or improvements may occasionally limit access; where possible, we will notify users in advance.
9. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your access to the Course without refund if you breach these Terms — for example, by:
- Sharing or reselling Course content
- Attempting to access protected materials through unauthorised means
- Using the Course for purposes other than personal education
If the Course is withdrawn permanently for reasons beyond your control (for example, business closure), we will provide a fair and reasonable resolution, which may include partial refund or extended access.
10. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and reliability of Course content, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes or career results.
To the extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Course or reliance on its content.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for your enrolment.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall continue in full force and effect.
