Location: The post will be based at EACH’s Brent office, with expected travelling between Harrow, Hillingdon, Kingston, Richmond, Ealing and Hounslow.
Salary: £27,300 – £28,938 (inclusive of Outer London Weighting) for Full Time Equivalent (37.5hrs)
Hours: 37.5 hours
Contract: This post is till March 2025 with possibility of extension subject to performance and continuous funding.

We are looking for dedicated, skilled Young Person Keyworker (Male) compassionate about making a difference to young male’s lives to help them recover from the impact of domestic abuse, trauma.
EACH provides a range of specialist services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence in safe accommodation who also are affected by mental health and alcohol and substance misuse issues, with a diverse team.
Successful postholders will be responsible for providing one to one emotional support, structured keywork and group work where required as part of one or more of the following:
To support young males (11-17) around domestic violence experiencing or having experienced domestic violence and abuse, including to BAME communities
Your Key Duties:
– To access, engage, and provide structured key working and group work within the above service to achieve positive outcomes for the young male clients
– To contribute to the overall activities and success of EACH’s services.
– To establish good working relationships within the local partnerships and promote the service to both professionals and local communities.
– To support colleagues including volunteer and trainee counsellors jointly with other projects and EACH staff
– Work collaboratively within EACH and with our partners
You Will Need:
– Experience of working with young people of BAME communities affected by domestic violence and abuse and other complexities
– Whilst it is desirable to hold a Youth Worker qualification (Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice) or equivalent, this post doesn’t necessitate such a qualification.
– Ability to engage clients, conduct keywork and support ideally in a relevant community language, such as Farsi, Pashto, Dari, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Somali, Polish (but not exhaustive to)
– Knowledge of the issues and barriers faced by members from BAME communities
– Knowledge and understanding of mental health and/or domestic abuse
– Ability to work flexibly, including off-site in satellites/community settings, evenings/weekends, provide phone/digital based sessions where needed.
