Job DescriptionWax London is a fast growing Menswear brand with ecommerce, retail and wholesale channels. Known for our use of characterful fabrications, we are delivering something different to the menswear market. Due to our exciting growth, we are looking for an Junior Merchandiser to support our Head Merchandiser in managing the product lifecycle throughout our international, omni-channel business. You will be based in our Camden head office alongside a diverse and dynamic team. As our first in-house Merchandising hire, this role necessitates a strong acumen and offers tremendous scope for progression.ApplicationPlease submit your CV and a brief Cover Letter to careers@waxlondon.com.Please note that due to high volume of applications, LinkedIn Quick-applications are not monitored and only successful candidates who apply via email will be contacted.The RolePermanent | Full Time | Hybrid35 hours per week | Hours 09:30 – 17:30Competitive Salary & Perks including Staff Discount, Summer Hours & Cycle to Work23 Days Annual Leave + Bank HolidaysThe Ideal CandidateProven experience at either Junior Merchandiser level or as an Assistant Merchandiser looking to make the next step.Experience in a Fashion Retail business with ecommerce, retail stores and wholesale.Experience of planning weekly sales, stock and intake management.Proactive, with strong numerical and analytical skills and a track record of delivery to deadlines.Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build relationships internally and externally at all levels.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Strong IT skills, in particular, Excel and other MS Office applications.Knowledge of reporting tools is desirable.A passion and interest in retail and strong commercial acumen.ResponsibilitiesSupport in the smooth-running day to day of the Merchandising department. Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets.Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities, as well as potential risk/loss.Working closely with the Head Merchandiser to range plan for each channel.Collaborating with the Wholesale team on reporting and strategy.Participating in trade meetings with Head Merchandiser and Directors.Assist in managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans. Review and manage line monitors.Review, propose and implement markdown and promotional activity.Complete lessons learnt reports periodically.
