What you will do in your working day

Learning to cut, drill, weld and fabricate various metal types to enable the apprentice to:

  • Repair damaged trucks and trailers
  • Replace trailer loading and unloading systems
  • Fabricate new parts and equipment from scratch
  • Create metal tools and equipment to support the workshop’s activities
  • Put college learning into practice and successfully complete their apprenticeship
  • Gain valuable skills to enable future career and earnings opportunities 

The training you will be getting

Level 2 Welding Apprenticeship.

1 day at our Luckyn Lane Campus in Basildon.

4 days working with employer.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Full time position on successful completion of the the apprenticeship.
