Warehouse Career Starter Apprenticeship

Type: Apprentice
Location: Darlington, Rotherham, Swindon

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

  • We don’t hang around at Aldi and neither will you. So, from the moment you start, you’ll be straight to it, signing your contracts, meeting your Assessor and completing all the paperwork to enrol onto your qualification
  • Focusing on your Level 2 Supply Chain Operative qualification, you’ll get to grips with our warehouse operation, complete theory work and have regular reviews with your Assessor
  • Pick, Wrap and Pack! You’ll learn the incredibly important job of picking goods that are ready for dispatch. You’ll then wrap and pack them, ensuring they end up where they’re supposed to be. In perfect condition
  • Stock levels are the lifeblood of retail. Too much, and you’ll waste a lot. Too little, and our customers won’t find what they need. Which is why we’ll show you how to do inventory checks, and stay on top of stock levels and records
  • You’ll learn how to operate equipment which could be mobile or fixed. It’s not just about knowing what bit of kit to use, but how to operate it safely and pack it away when you’re done
