Job Description

The role of the Junior E-Commerce SEO Executive is to:

Support the development and implementation of comprehensive SEO strategies to improve visibility, drive organic traffic and enhance overall search-engine rankings.

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of wardrobeicons.com, including homepage updates, marketplace management and content upload and creation.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise website content, analyse performance metrics and stay updated on search-engine algorithms and best practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and optimise website content accordingly.

Perform on-page and off-page optimisation, including technical SEO, link building and content strategy, under the guidance of senior team members.

Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and our SEO software.

Generate comprehensive online sales reports, identify trends in customer purchases and evaluate shifts in the online retail market to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborate with the Commercial Director to establish monthly affiliate targets aimed at driving business growth and achieving key performance objectives.

Oversee the distribution of sales reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Share relevant sales data with other departments to facilitate informed decision-making and contribute to regular report briefings.

Generate monthly reports on SEO performance, trends and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement for clients.

Collaborate with content creators, web developers and other marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation processes.

Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates and emerging SEO technologies, and implement strategies to adapt to changes.

Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain a competitive edge in search-engine rankings.

Continuously optimise website content, structure and technical elements to enhance user experience and search-engine visibility.

Help to organise and collate content for our digital publication, ICONS.

Assist in all activities leading to publication, including uploading products and pages.

Oversee the timeline from issue creation to publication, ensuring efficient time management. Maintain clear communication with editors and assistants throughout the process.

Track the fulfilment and performance of affiliate brands within the online magazine. Maintain regular communication with the editorial team to keep them informed of affiliate brand status and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Some experience or exposure to developing and implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search-engine rankings is beneficial.

Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn and use SEO tools

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.

Good attention to detail, time management and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with Shopify and Contentful

Experience in using affiliate programs (such as Rakuten, AWIN etc)

Google Tag Manager experience
