Junior Project Accountant – 12 Month FTC

Job Description

Junior Project Accountant needed to join our team for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll be doing:

An integral member of the accounting team with a view to “owning” the numbers for the respective areas.

Raising Invoices and credit notes in BC system and sending to clients.

Management of Debtors ledger and credit control for respective client portfolio

Revenue Recognition, liaising with Account Exec’s and Project managers monthly to calculate monthly revenue on projects (Time & Materials and Fixed Price projects)

Ensuring all the correct

documentation/contracts

are in place for revenue recognition.

Finalising monthly WTC revenue

Responsible for Revenue SOX reporting

Ad hoc management reporting

Assisting in SOX, internal and external audits

Review and post journals into Business Central

Set up of new clients

Support improvement activities and any new business initiatives.

What we want from you:

Required

Experience in revenue/project accounting, AR management and credit control

Proficient in use of IT systems, Accounting systems and Excel

Ability to work autonomously

Experience providing management reporting

Ability to communicate well at all levels and build good relationships, both internally and externally, whilst maintaining professionalism, control and integrity

Flexible, cooperative and supportive to management

Team player, prepared to support/cover other administrative roles when required & without prompting

Hard-working, committed, able to use initiative, to prioritise, to meet reporting deadlines and to respond quickly to business requirements

Excellent attention to detail

If you know some of this, even better

CIMA/AACA qualified/part qualified

Some experience of the IT Services Industry would be an advantage

Experience working in a large multidisciplinary agency
