A great opportunity has arisen for a Junior Buyer to join one of the fastest growing businesses within the FMCG industry right now!Your New Role:You’ll be working for a growing and exciting global FMCG business based in London. They produce high-quality products and pride themselves of being the best in the business!This role will focus within the packaging arm of the business.You’ll be responsible for negotiating prices with suppliers, ensure costs are managed and achieve budgets for the globally recognised brands. The majority of the role will be based on Purchasing. However, you will be working closely with the wide supply chain management team, suppliers, and distributors and be providing support to all external and internal stakeholders.Key responsibilities:Assist with the search of qualified suppliers across several packaging categoriesNegotiate with vendors/factories to meet the brands cost and quality requirementsPlace and progress purchase orders and buying contractsLiaise with suppliers to ensure orders are raised and delivered as per requirementsWork closely with the wider supply chain team to achieve the brands goalsCould This Be You?At least 1-2 years of relevant supply chain, procurement or buying experienceProven ability to achieve the best cost prices in correlation with budgets and corporate objectiveGreat level of stakeholder management & the ability to influence at a senior level.Salary up to £35K + bonusHybrid working
