Graduate Programme

During our graduate development programme, you will have an opportunity to gain valuable insight into Veolia’s services and strategic projects.

You will go through a structured development, undertaking leadership, business and management modules with your graduate cohort as well as learning more about yourself through 360 coaching sessions and insights profiling. You will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainability and join the wider graduate community.

This role offers a unique in-house practical training experience, together with professional exam study and support, leading to the ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) and CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) qualifications within three years.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as a corporation tax business partner for the UK including tax advisory work;
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations for financial reporting and for submission to HMRC, and assist with tax queries;
  • Assist with all direct tax matters including liaising with external tax advisors, auditors and other internal departments and operations teams; and,
  • Support the group tax team and the wider business to ensure tax issues are identified and appropriately managed.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree-level qualification in Maths and Finance with an interest in tax;
  • The ability to work as part of a team;
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in manipulating and analysing spreadsheet data.
