Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship:

Our Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while studying. This role involves maximising the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, and digital communications within our organisation. The apprenticeship includes two pathways: digital applications technician and digital service technician. It typically lasts 15 months, with around 20% of the time dedicated to learning and 80% to hands-on work. Successful candidates will gain a Level 3 Digital Support Technician qualification.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Help with setting up IoT (safety alarm devices) and configuring them for use by the customer.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and IoT configuration.

Track issues through to resolution within agreed time limits and use our customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to record actions and next steps.

Appropriately escalate unresolved issues to internal teams (e.g. software developers).

Support our customer success efforts.

Ensure all issues are properly logged.

Potentially interact with clients directly to assist with onboarding and technical issues.

What We Are Looking For:

Desired qualifications: A – C or 4 – 9 GCSE (including a minimum of a B (or 5) in Maths)

Highly organised and conscientious with strong attention to detail

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

Autonomous work style, taking ownership of issues

Curiosity and a drive to improve processes

Openness to giving and receiving candid feedback

Preference for working in environments without excessive bureaucracy
