OVERVIEW

Our client is a well established, ‘Good’ rated Training Provider organisation, who deliver a range of Apprenticeships, including the Leadership and Management and Coaching Professional standards.

They currently have a vacancy for an Apprenticeship Assessor / Development Coach to join their organisation to deliver the Operations/Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional Level 5 standards.

This will be a home based / remote role involving occasional travel as required. The majority of the delivery of these Apprenticeship standards is remote, so location isnt important

you just need to be flexible to travel when required. There will also be team meetings in the Midlands every couple of months.

Applicants must have experience delivering either the L5 Management or the L5 Coaching Professional standard – both would be ideal.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Assessing qualification (Level 3) e.g. TAQA or A1

Relevant teaching qualification (Minimum level 3 award in Education and Training)

Ideally a Level 5 Management qualification and / or a Level 5 Coaching qualification

Experience of delivering either the Leadership and Management or Coaching Professional standards.

Excellent IT skills that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT

Previous experience of working in management positions

THE ROLE

Acting as a workplace mentor and specialist coach. Helping to develop and shape sustainable managers for the future through a robust and innovative training and development programme, moulded to suit employer requirements. Delivering new apprenticeship standards: Operations/Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional.

Responsibilities will include:

Training, assessing and delivering Apprenticeship Standards in Operations / Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional (L5).

Support learners through their Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.

Conduct study groups and 1-1 sessions, both online and face-to-face with Managers.

Classroom based delivery to develop workplace knowledge and skills as part of learner apprenticeships

Identify learners starting points to set personalised and stretching learning plans to motivate and inspire learners to achiever and progress towards their career aspirations

Conduct workplace assessments to monitor learner development, generating evidence to assist with the Gateway and EPA phase

Manage and maintain a thorough record of the learner journey, ensuring full compliance with the ESFA funding rules
