Job Accountabilities

We’ll provide you with lots of development opportunities to work to chartered status, getting you involved in a series of projects designed to help you get to grips with the breadth of the business and the diverse challenges we face in managing our wastewater network.

You will:

  • Have the opportunity to develop leadership, financial and communications skills to support regulatory compliance and capital programmes.
  • Have the ability to work across a matrix organisation to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Be given opportunities to build, maintain and use network models for solving wastewater network problems using advanced integrated catchment modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

Knowledge and Skills

Our team has a strong reputation for excellence and our graduates are a really important part of that success.

We need our modelling engineer graduates to have a minimum 2:1 BSc, BEng or BA degree in an engineering, environmental, hydrological or mathematical discipline.

You will also be:

  • Able to show interest and ability in numerical computational analysis and show evidence of engagement in wastewater environmental interests
  • An excellent team player
  • Ambitious and show drive
  • An excellent communicator at all levels with the ability to influence across all levels
  • Strong in written and interpersonal skills
  • Great at problem solving skills
  • Able to apply innovative solutions to difficult challenges
  • Knowledgeable and interested in wastewater networks

Additional Information

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment centre which are taking place between 6th-15th December 2023.
