Data Technician Apprenticeship

Location: London – Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4 week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements

What will I be doing???

As an apprentice, your 2-year development programme will be made up of up to 5 placement rotations. Our aim is to equip you with the range of skills and experience you need for your successful career. We also understand that everyone’s career is different, so every apprentice’s journey is unique. Here’s an idea of what yours could look like:

Placement 1 – Product Owner – 3 months – Stakeholder Engagement, Requirements gathering, User Story breakdown

Placement 2 – Data Architect – 3 months – Requirements Analysis, Data definition, Data Mapping

Placement 3 – Developer – 6 Months – Requirements Understanding, Development, Unit Testing

Placement 4 – Visualisation Developer – 6 months – Visualisation Development, User Acceptance Testing, Ops Hand Over

Placement 5 – Tester – 6 months – Test Plan, Automated Test scripts, Test Exit Reports

There will be some flexibility in the placements within the scheme, but we would want people to get a full rounded view across the team of all the roles to ensure the right fit for them longer term. No placement is 100% compulsory as there will be some cross over in areas depending on the project work and if people have a desire for a specific long-term area where we can ensure more focus.
