This is an exciting opportunity to join the ultrasound team in the Humber Health Partnership, as a trainee sonographer.

You would undertake a PG Certificate in general medical and gynaecology ultrasound. This would involve clinical placements within the ultrasound departments across the trust and part time studies in medical ultrasound with a Higher Education provider.

• Gain all competencies to independently perform ultrasound examinations
• Gain all competencies to provide a diagnostic report on ultrasound examinations undertaken.

· Work within the ultrasound departmental guidelines and Trust policies.

· The trust reserves the right to withdraw your clinical placement, and therefore terminate your contract, if you are unsuccessful in completing the academic modules required for the job role.

· The role is subject to a period of probation and your contract can be terminated if you do not progress of meet the terms of your probation.

· Learn the skills to undertake a coordinating role for the day to day planning of the operational workload of the department when required.
• Work as a team member within a multi-disciplinary team, providing a high quality ultrasound service whilst maintaining high standards of patient care
• Maintain effective relationships and have regular communication with ultrasound team, Radiologists and with all areas of Radiology.
• Partake in departmental audit and case review programme
• Participate in the annual appraisal process to include reflected practice and multi-source feedback
• Responsible for own professional development and education
