My successful and well respected client is looking to employ a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. My client runs a successful pathway scheme for Trainee QS s who are recent A Level or University leavers.

You will learn the ropes for 6 months then do the QS advanced apprenticeship degree via Westminster University. Over the course of 3-4 years you will run your own jobs as junior QS and then QS. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person!

You will start your employment in Bedford working on my clients smaller residential projects but once qualified, you will have the option to progress to the massive London projects if you make the grade! . My client’s 3rd year trainee is now running a £6million job in London, and their 2nd year trainee is running two major school refurbishments in Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire, alongside a senior QS.

About you:

  • You must be A Level or Degree qualified.
  • You must be confident and able to present yourself well as this is a client facing role.
  • You need to be good with complex tasks, have great organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong literacy & numeracy skills are key for this role.
  • You will need to have your own transport to be considered for this role as you will be required to visit sites independently (travel costs will be reimbursed).
