Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team at Thurlow Nunn Distrigo, a leading automotive parts distribution company in Luton. We specialise in providing top-quality parts and exceptional service to our valued trade customers. As a Trainee Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our local B2B business, providing expert advice and ensuring our customers have everything they need to succeed.

As a Trainee Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll receive full training both in-house and manufacturer. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our trade customers, building strong relationships based on trust and expertise.
  • Delivering parts to customers as part of the first 12 months of employment to gain experience.
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate parts and accessories.
  • Assisting customers in finding the right products, providing detailed product information, and offering suitable alternatives when necessary.
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolving customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product range, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive parts or a sales role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales and achieving results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with sales software and inventory management systems.
