Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team at Thurlow Nunn Distrigo, a leading automotive parts distribution company in Luton. We specialise in providing top-quality parts and exceptional service to our valued trade customers. As a Trainee Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our local B2B business, providing expert advice and ensuring our customers have everything they need to succeed.
As a Trainee Parts Sales Specialist, you’ll receive full training both in-house and manufacturer. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our trade customers, building strong relationships based on trust and expertise.
- Delivering parts to customers as part of the first 12 months of employment to gain experience.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate parts and accessories.
- Assisting customers in finding the right products, providing detailed product information, and offering suitable alternatives when necessary.
- Processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Resolving customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product range, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive parts or a sales role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales and achieving results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with sales software and inventory management systems.
