What you’ll be doing

The Human Resources Administration Apprentice will play a crucial role, supporting all aspects of the business in an administrative function.

Core Accountabilities:

1. Provide administrative support to HR & Payroll team.

2. Support the HR & Payroll team in the achievement of T&L’s priorities and objectives.

3. Support the team in the delivery of its objectives demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and adopting a flexible and resourceful approach.

4. Undertake all responsibilities with due regard to T&L’s policies and practices.

5. Participate in relevant T&L projects that support the delivery of the T&L Business Plan.

6. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post

Specific Accountabilities:

1. Understand how to assist in the provision of business support to the HR and Payroll Team including day to day tasks such as document creation, using excel spreadsheets, room bookings, electronic filing, and distribution of information.

2. Act, alongside the Operations Support Manager, as a first point of contact for enquiries, and respond to or refer enquiries as appropriate.

3. Assist in maintaining and updating organisational structure charts and employee records.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

? Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workloads.

? Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

? Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and be able to learn new systems quickly.

? Work proactively and with good judgement.

? Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships within the T&L team.

? Be eager to learn and develop

Qualifications:

? Candidates must hold GCSEs in maths and English at A*-C or 4-9 grade.

? Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
