We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Graduate Sales Executive who’s looking want to use their skills to positively impact critical industries and the communities working within them.

About the role

As a Graduate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:

  • Take a seat within a driven, highly motivated sales team and have a golden opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. 
  • Be part of a collaborative team selling delegate places and tickets on our global portfolio of events.
  • Build relationships and rapport with leads across a variety of industry sectors and will receive commission for every single sale you make. 
  • Use your excellent customer service skills to qualify and nurture sales leads.
  • Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior level ‘business to business’ conferences worldwide.
  • Be comfortable working to targets and speaking with decision makers at leading organisations.
  • Receive training on the sales techniques required to be a successful sales executive.
  • Have the potential to progress into a consultative business development role focusing on higher level exhibition and sponsorship packages OR into a conference production role looking at creating high end, commercially viable events where you will gain a wide range of transferable skills.

  • Are keen to progress quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Are confident engaging senior-level executives from major organizations over email and over the phone.
  • Have an entrepreneurial flair with a determined outlook and a desire to deliver results.
  • Have previous sales experience (not essential but it will be considered a plus!)
