Dutch-Speaking Marketing Trainee, Manchester, £27,000

Are you a Dutch speaker and keen to use your languages skills in your next role? Do you love travelling?

About the role

This Marketing trainee role is with a global publishing company who produce free specialist magazines for the agricultural industry across Europe. This role is focused on ensuring the magazines are distributed in the right places (shops, petrol stations, service stations) and read by the right audiences.

The best way to see whether this is happening effectively is to be there! So you’ll be expected to travel roughly once a month and spend a week in The Netherlands. You’ll visit every magazine distribution point and liaise with the proprietors to gain their feedback.

Whilst this isn’t a sales role, you’ll building relationships and having meaningful conversations face to face and over the phone.

About you

You MUST be FLUENT in both English and Dutch. If you speak German or Spanish too, then that’s ideal.

You must have a full Driving Licence and be happy to drive abroad.

Maybe you’re a recent languages Graduate or you originate from one of the countries in question?

Whilst there’s no specific experience needed, ideally, you’ll have a background in customer service, sales or marketing and be self-motivated.

You must be able to commit to travelling abroad a minimum of five days every month or a minimum of 60 days over a year. And be comfortable working independently.

When not abroad the role is based full time in the Manchester office.
