We are delighted to launch our Season 2024/25 Internship Programme, aiming to develop and prepare individuals for a future career in football. There are five places available in the cohort, with each Intern assigned to a department for an 11-month period where you will learn and develop your skillset across that function. The departments for candidates to apply to are: Policy & Corporate Affairs, Commercial, Finance, Football Development and Football Operations. Your department will depend on your current skillset and interests, which we will explore with you at application and interview stage.

The

Commercial

function all play as one team to drive revenue generation and brand awareness globally. The team is comprised of Business Development, Partnership Management, Marketing and International Relations and Events. The department works collaboratively to ensure that the Premier League is fulfilling its maximum revenue potential, which ultimately supports it’s Clubs, Community initiatives and wider football pyramid.

The Role:

As a Commercial Intern, you’ll be:

Coordinating the Staff Ticketing programme across Premier League matches and other events

Supporting the Hospitality and Ticketing Manager with match arrangements and ticket distribution

Providing administration support at various commercial events, such as Hall of Fame, Partner Forum, End of Season Trophy Presentation, Premier League Mornings Live and Summer Series

Providing support for the various partner and licensee accounts along with Business Development team analysing market trends

Assisting with the Brand and Marketing team on campaigns such as No Room for Racism, Rainbow Laces, More Than A Game, and Inside Matters

Undertaking general commercial administrative duties

The Candidate:

Able to live / work in the UK with no restrictions and can commit to all aspects of the programme, including being able to work in London

The Package:

Annual salary of £26,000

70/20/10 learning structure where 70% of learning is done on the job, 20% from coaching and mentoring, and 10% from formal training

Hybrid-working model offers you the flexibility to work from home on some days each week
