Role: Demand Planning Assistant

Client: Leading Sports/Lifestyle Brand

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000

Location: Didcot – 3 days in office

The Advocate Group have again exclusively partnered with such a business! Leading in technical wear since 1993, the business has experienced year-on-year growth to where they have entered the lifestyle footwear & the apparel space. 2024 is gearing up to be another HUGE year for the business!

The business is seeking a talented and driven graduate who will make their first step into Supply Chain as a Demand Planning Assistant.

This is an ideal role if you are an ambitious and career minded individual with a keen interest in data (excel skills required).

Track and Communicate:

Proactively monitor product intake, identify delays, and optimise stock holding across all channels.

Forecasting Support:

Assist management with forecasting to ensure the right volumes are available to meet sales targets.

Efficient Stock Intake:

Ensure timely and accurate intake of stock into the business, maintaining up-to-date records with correct volumes and delivery dates.

Stakeholder Communication:

Keep all stakeholders informed about intake dates and potential delays and liaise with the warehouse on stock receipts and discrepancies.

Freight Coordination:

Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.

Stock Utilisation:

Optimise the use of stock across all channels.

Data Analysis:

Support the Demand Planning Manager with forecasting and data analysis.

Relationship Building:

Develop strong relationships with the International Team to further key accountabilities.

Project Assistance:

Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Skills/Experience:

Excel Proficiency:

Strong Excel skills are essential.

Organisational Skills:

Exceptional organisational abilities to manage large data sets.

Multitasking:

Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Time Management:

Strong time management skills.

Team Player:

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Analytical Mindset:

Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.

Communication:

Clear and articulate communicator.

Additional Experience:

Experience in wholesale, retail, or e-commerce is a plus.
