Program Overview:

  • Duration: A comprehensive 18-month journey where you’ll dive into the latest automotive technologies with workshops led by our inhouse training experts
  • Mentorship: You will be paired with a seasoned patrol expert, providing one-on-one guidance.
  • Real-World Experience: Gain practical on the job experience
  • Certification: Earn IMI and EV certifications that will set you apart in the industry.
  • End of the programme: To be a fully competent roadside AA Patrol, with potential to increase pay and benefits
  • Start Date: October and November 2024

You’ll need:

  • Some experience in vehicle maintenance and repair and customer service
  • It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less, If you don’t also have category BE (towing) we’ll fund it for you.
  • To be happy working shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Examples of roles you may be doing currently:

MOT Tester, Panel Beater, Fast Fit Mechanic, Roadside Technician e.g. Tyre, Key Assist, Apprentice – 2nd year complete (Level 2), Marine Mechanic, Railway Worker, HGV/RO Driver, Ex-Military Personnel, Agricultural Mechanic, Motorbike Mechanic, Aerospace Technician, Vintage Car Restorer:

Starting Salary GBP28,550 (On the road OTE GBP44k)
