Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Architectural Assistant or Junior Building Services Assistant

(Electrical/Mechanical).

This entry-level role is ideal for a school leaver or someone who has recently completed their A-levels. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience and receive day release training for a technical or degree qualification funded by Templeman Design.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Role:

Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept to completion.

Produce drawings, models, and presentations using CAD software.

Collaborate with senior architects and designers to ensure project requirements are met.

Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project development.

Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Learn and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.

Building Services Role (Electrical or Mechanical):

Assist in the design and development of building services systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

Prepare engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.

Support senior engineers in project planning, coordination, and implementation.

Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of building services installations.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of building services.

Learn and apply relevant industry standards, codes, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications:

A-levels or equivalent qualifications.

Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is desirable but not essential.

Strong technical and creative skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

Basic knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.

Familiarity with industry standards and building codes is a plus.
