Role Overview:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant with a focus on sports, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and physical development of primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons, with a particular focus on incorporating sports and physical activities into the curriculum.

Providing one-to-one or small group support for students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure their academic and social progression.

Organizing and leading sports sessions and extracurricular activities to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition among students.

Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement sports-related events, such as sports days, tournaments, and fitness challenges.

Requirements:

A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.

Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.

Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced school environment.

Previous experience working with children or coaching sports teams is advantageous.
