Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Junior Software Developer to join a growing and exciting business. The role offers a vast amount of training, development and exciting tech stacks to work on. It’s a full-stack role with React on the frontend, Ruby on Rails for the backend and ran on an AWS infrastructure.The platform is a global platform used by some of the worlds leading brands such as BP, Hugo Boss and M&S with a huge amount of bespoke projects, ongoing performance enhancements and scaling opportunities so there’s never a dull moment!Some of the areas the role will be working onBuilding, testing and maintaining new features, APIs and other integrationsManaging complexity and maintaining code quality throughout the platformFixing bugs and collaborating with the support team to help end usersAssisting in the monitoring and maintenance of our web infrastructureIdeal experienceA degree from a leading universityIdeally some experience across Ruby on Rails or React but this is not a prerequisiteThe desire to work on RoR, React and AWS as a stackAn understanding of web developmentThe desire to work full-stack and across different projectsPackage£40K base salary30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays in addition to this)Hybrid working – 3 days in the Shoreditch office and 2 days at homeCareer development and progressionOther nice perksIf this sounds like a role you would be interested in learning more about, please apply and we will be in touch to discuss further.
