Swim Teacher Trainee Programme

Salary – ÂŁ23,424 – ÂŁ25,116 per annum, pro rata (ÂŁ12.60 per hour rising to ÂŁ13.51 on achieving qualification).

Part-time permanent role, 25 hours per week.

Location – multiple venues across Edinburgh

No experience required! Join our swim teaching trainee program and kick-start your swimming career.

Do you love swimming so much that you’d love to make a career out of it? We’ll help you jump in at the deep end by giving you all the training and support you need to become a qualified Swim Teacher. And we’ll pay you to do it! We’ll even pay your training costs and exam fees!

Compulsory Training dates/times:

– Mon 1st & Tue 2nd of September: 09:00 – 16:00 – Welcome & Induction

– Sat 6th, Sun 7th and Mon 8th of September: 09:00 – 17:00 – SSTQ

– Sat 20th, Sun 21st and Mon 22nd of September: 09:00 – 17:00 – SSTQ

– Sat 27th and Mon 29th of September: 09:00 – 17:00 – SSTQ

– Mon 10th to Fri 14th of November – 09:00 – 17:00 – National Pool Lifeguard qualification

Please do not apply if you are unavailable for all the above dates/times. Other hours are negotiable (to a certain extent) and will be confirmed before acceptance onto the Programme.
