Trainee Recruitment Consultant

SALARY:£24k + uncapped commission – 1st year OTE £50k, 2nd £65k, 3rd £70k+

THE COMPANY

My client is an award winning International Recruitment Consultancy formed in 2003. Based in central Manchester, they are a completely privately owned business focusing on both permanent and contract recruitment across some 30 countries. Their experienced Management Team has driven the business from strength to strength with revenues of almost £20 million they have recently been ranked 12th in The Recruiter awards fast 50 as well as achieving recognition in the Times fast track 100 list of the fastest growing companies in the UK for two years running. They are looking to hire a number of trainee/graduate recruitment consultants to start in the new year.

The Role of an Entry Level Recruiter

A typical day as an entry level recruiter consultant will consist of;

*Cold calling to win new business

*Writing adverts

*Screening CVs

*Interviewing candidates

*Negotiating terms of business

*Maintain successful client relationships

*Hitting targets / earning commission and celebrating your success each month!

The Reward for an Entry Level Recruiter :-

£24k Salary

+

Uncapped Commission (The commission structure is very competitive offering an initial set fee per placement of £250, typically you will be making 4-5 deals when you first join. This then rises to a percentage scale when you are promoted.)

Previous Successful Entry Level Recruiter Candidates have been:

  • Educated individuals (preferably degree level, experience would be favourable but not essential)
  • Confident communicators, with the ability to build rapport over the phone

  • Personable with the ability to work well in a team environment
