We currently have opportunities for Trainee Fire & Security Engineers in the Leicester area.

The position offers a starting salary of £25,500 + overtime, paid door to door travel, standby payments, company vehicle and fuel card, 25 days holiday + English Public Holidays.

The Company requires a reliable, committed and trustworthy individual for this position that has been created through the growth of the business.

Principle Responsibilities:

• To service, maintain and install fire alarm systems, intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems and emergency lighting in accordance with the relevant British Standards
• Correctly complete engineer service reports
• Report deficiencies or deviations in systems
• Participate in the out of hours call out rota
• Any other duties in line with the post

Skills Required

• Good electrical knowledge – City & Guilds Electrical qualifications or equivalent
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and safely work at height, ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements.
• Ability to use power tools
• Self-starter and a team player
