Supported Internship Education Tutor Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic communicator and creative Tutor to join our Supported Internship programme. This is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday. This role is ideal for Higher Level Teaching Assistants currently working with SEN learners, at least Level 2 qualifications in English and maths. This role will provide you with the skills and knowledge to advance your career and become a specialised Tutor in SEN education.

You will have the chance to join a friendly and supportive team, helping young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and/or autism access the world of work.

As a Tutor, you will focus on delivering the educational element of the Supported Internship programme. You will work closely with colleagues including job coaches, programme coordinators, and external support services, who collaboratively form a team around the learners.

Contractual Details Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,506 £31,169 per annum (depending on level of qualifications and experience)

Working Time: 828 hours per annum of teaching and equivalent

professional duties over 198 days, for full time posts and pro

rata for part time posts. You will be expected to be on site for

34 hours per week pro rata during the whole academic year.

Contract Type: Permanent

Pension: Techers Pension Scheme

Leave entitlement: 38 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time) plus additional discretionary days at Christmas.
