Graduate Pricing Analyst 2024

Somerset Bridge Limited are seeking multiple graduates to join our Actuarial Pricing teams. These graduate level roles are open to candidates with a range of experiences, from graduate to 1 year+ experience. The successful candidate may have some experience with any of the following coding languages, but more importantly a desire to develop your skills on the job; Python, R or SAS.

During your employment, you will develop the experience needed to become a well-rounded Pricing Analyst, receiving on-the-job training and development support. This role is perfect for candidates who are passionate about data and have the ambition to start a career within Data Science / Actuarial Pricing.

Successful candidates will have the enthusiasm and ability to work in a dynamic environment and push themselves to become independent problem solvers. They will have a desire to develop programming languages and to use statistics and machine learning in a supportive and innovative environment working alongside experienced Data Scientists and Actuaries.

What we are looking for

  • Strong numerate degree & Mathematics A-Level.
  • A passion for applying analytics and data science to solve business challenges.
  • An ability to understand complex issues and deal with uncertainty.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically.
  • Effective communication and strong presentation skills.
