Exciting Opportunity for Performing Arts Enthusiasts in Manchester! (who are wanting to work in Primary School setting)

Simply Education is currently seeking candidates with backgrounds in Performing Arts, such as Dance or Drama, to work as Teaching Assistants at an excellent Primary school in M16. This rewarding position is set to commence ASAP, pending clearance and compliance checks, with the potential for a long-term commitment throughout the academic year.

In this highly fulfilling role, you will provide vital support tochildren within a Primary School setting. You will be supporting children with different needs and levels of ability, These may include conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, complex learning disabilities, or children identified as having an Educational, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). With the increased impact of COVID-19 on young children’s mental health, there is a growing demand for dedicated support across schools in the UK to aid in catch-up efforts.

This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in Performing Arts, Care Work, who aspire to roles such as Teacher, Child Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, or Educational Psychologist.

Key Requirements:

– Hold a degree in a Performing Arts related subject or have relevant experience in a Performing Arts role.

– Possess an understanding of SEND and SEMH needs.

– Available to work Monday to Friday during term-time, with typical hours between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

– Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children.
