If so, Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Postgraduate Programme Administrator to join our client, a world-class science-based university in London. This is a temporary, part-time role for three days a week offered on a one-month contract, with the possibility to extend. The role is fully campus-based.

As a Postgraduate Programme Administrator, you will provide high level administrative and management support to ensure the efficient delivery of postgraduate courses. To include overseeing administration for admissions, courses, teaching, exams and other projects. The post holder will have strong communication skills to offer first point of contact assistance to students, staff and academics. In addition, you will complete other administrative ad-hoc duties in order to assist the smooth running of the department.

Postgraduate Programme Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for students, staff and academics – to include working closely with Programme Leads and Academic teams as well as external academics and examiners
  • Providing complete administrative support for postgraduate admissions, courses, teaching and examinations
  • Assisting the team with co-ordinating marking and returning marks and feedback to students. To include producing detailed assessment and examination spreadsheets and when necessary, organising Examinations Board meetings
  • Co-ordinating the admissions process along with the Programme Leads and the Registry Admissions Team. To include the production of marketing materials and planning for Welcome Week and Student Induction
  • Planning for teaching using the internal online timetabling system
  • Other general administrative duties and projects in order to assist the Faculty, Department and University

Postgraduate Programme Administrator Key Skills:

  • Experience working within a Higher Education setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in IT. In particular Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and Zoom as well as confident working with new internal systems
  • Proactive with good interpersonal skills
