We are looking for a chemical or maintenance engineering student to join our Sensient Engineering team based at our location in King’s Lynn.

The Engineering Intern is a temporary position for a minimum of 3 months up to a maximum of 6 months. In this role, you are responsible for providing support in the development of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

What you’ll do

• Develop a mechanism to collect Team KPIs (MTTR, MTBF and PM schedule adherence)
• Assist with the preparation of Engineering documentation.
• Roll out 5S programme within Maintenance Team
• Develop Autonomous Maintenance programme (Starting with Key equipment)
• Catalogue Engineering spares (utilizing FIIX database).

What you’ll bring

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team on projects.
• Able to establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Skills using AutoCAD would be an advantage
• Able to deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines.
• A minimum status of A level and preferably working towards a degree program in an Engineering discipline.
