As we grow our business across Europe, we have an exciting new opportunity for a junior developer (hybrid).

KEY RESPONSBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

? Analyse user requirements and design effective software to meet those needs

? Develop software according to the specifications within agreed timescales

? Ensure that software is developed, tested, implemented documented and maintained

? To verify that unit or system testing is performed to the approved standard

? To provide support to the operations site, resolving issues

? Providing out of hours technical support for our solutions

? Managing the helpdesk

JOB RELATED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Essential:

? Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or similar

? Commercial experience (2+ years preferred)

?

Basic programming skills in Microsoft C#, Microsoft Transact-SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery

? Ability to break down a complex task into management parts in a systematic way

? Analyse & design solutions to user requirements as directed

? Able to solve diverse and unstructured problems

? Ability to manage, plan and prioritise workload

Desirable:

? Basic skills in:- Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft ASP.Net/MVC, Web Services, Microsoft SQL DBA
