Our UK Graduate Programme

SUK are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious HR Graduate to join our team and participate in our HR Graduate Scheme, with a specific focus on HR Operations, Management Systems, Digitalisation of HR workflows and digital analytics.

In this role, you will get to experience the full breadth of HR in a modern environment where ‘Data’ driven decision-making is key. Working as part of a Central HR team you will support and optimise our SAP Core HR systems, overall HR ecosystem digital infrastructure; as well as managing interfaces between various HR systems.

You will also have the opportunity to develop operational HR capability including administration, advisory and potential collaborating within the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their skills, whilst gaining hands-on experience in HR systems and digital technologies.

What will I be doing on this graduate programme?

Joining a collaborative and supportive social environment with a view to becoming a future leader and expert at Safran, you will be learning all things HR Operations and systems related and how these support the business management daily operations.

The two years will see you develop into a Professional HR Generalist; with key digital skills and HR system knowledge to support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Systems Support: Provide day-to-day support for SAP Core HR and other HR systems, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • System Optimisation: Collaborate with the HR team to identify areas for improvement within our HR systems and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interfaces Management: Oversee the interfaces between our HR systems and other internal and external systems, ensuring data synchronisation and seamless integration.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract and analyse data from HR systems, generating various reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making within the HR department and other relevant stakeholders.
  • User Training and Documentation: Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for HR colleagues and end-users on the effective use of HR systems, ensuring optimal utilisation of system capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing HR processes and workflows, and propose enhancements to streamline operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Stay updated with HR Technology trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in HR technology, digital tools, and HR management systems, and make recommendations for their potential implementation
  • HR Operations: Complete all aspects of HR operations that support the full employee lifecycle.

What skills do I need?

  • A 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in Business or HR
  • Work experience in HR is preferred but not essential.
