The Role Graduate Executive Search Consultant

  • Sitting in on briefing meetings with clients to fully understand them as businesses, as well as their hiring priorities
  • Mapping the markets and getting a good reach on which firms operate in your space and who the best players in those firms are
  • Outreaching potential candidates and pitching the roles you are working on
  • Working closely with your team to shortlist suitable candidates for your clients and manage the interviewing process
  • Creating salary reports for your clients and candidates based on the searches you conduct
  • Writing up reports following on from mandates to fully understand what reservations people had and why, what went well in the process, what the backgrounds of interested individuals was etc.
  • Building your own personal network on LinkedIn and writing relevant content to add value to your network

The Ideal Candidate Graduate Executive Search Consultant

  • Commercial experience – internships, placement year, part-time work in an office setting etc.
  • Degree educated with a 2:1 in any discipline
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Resilient – able to bounce back
  • Confident and articulate when speaking with high level decision makers
