They specialise in placing C-Suite individuals into Hedge Funds and Investment Banks across the globe. 50% of the work they do is based in the US, meaning you will have the option to travel and meet with international businesses.

The training you will receive will involve a lot of market research, as well as on the job learning. The Role Executive Search Consultant

Joining this business, you will start as a researcher and progress into a 360 consultant:

  • Attending client briefings to understand the candidates they are looking for, as well as the offering itself
  • Mapping the financial market, and knowing the best individuals within their space
  • Creating longlists and shortlists for your clients, of the most appropriate candidates
  • Working closely with your senior consultant alongside the interviewing process
  • Creating reports on candidates in process with your clients, and reporting back on market trends
  • Building up an online presence and creating your own personal brand
  • Consistently updating your own network, and having conversations with individuals to understand the market better

The Ideal Candidate Executive Search Consultant

  • Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
  • Background in a sales role is ideal but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills both on and off the phone
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Ambitious and driven to build a successful career for yourself
