The Company Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Working across the financial services, you will have the opportunity to work on all desks in your first 6 months. Following that you will specialise in the area that you take to most this will be between Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Accounting, and Investment Banks. Each desk works with clients internationally, with 60% of their work being focussed in the US.

During your first 6 months on the rotation, you will have ongoing training from different managers and the learning & development team. Youll also get to shadow a number of top performers in the business so you can develop your own style of communication with clients and candidates.

Over the past 5 years, trainees have earnt, on average, 50k in their first year, with plenty of consultants earning over 60k. Youll also progress to a fully fledged consultant position within 3-4 months, with a clear structure to get you to a Team Lead position!

Starting salary of 28k, rising to 30k after you have passed your probation period

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Conducting business development to win new clients

Building and maintaining excellent relationships with your clients

Sourcing candidates through headhunting and networking

Interviewing candidates, organising interviews with your clients, passing on feedback etc.

Negotiating the best package for your candidate (salary, bonus, start date, role title etc.)

Building a network in the financial space and creating content online relevant to your peers

Working to exceed both individual and team targets
