Join us and you’ll be right in the thick of Risk Management. You’ll be part of a growing, diverse team that are involved in every aspect of the project life-cycle, supporting the projects teams in all Risk management – from developing strategies in risk management to day to day risk management including running analysis and facilitating risk reviews.

Our Risk team in the advisory unit are working on high-profile projects to support clients with the Risk and Value management expertise. As a graduate, you will be involved in all aspects of a project delivery and its development phases. These usually involve: early design, optioneering, design development, construction and close out. We work with a large number of clients from different industries such as: Network Rail, Heathrow airport, Stansted airport, Highways England, HS2, Crossrail, Alstom, Skanska and many more.

Our projects come in different sizes and complexities, so you’ll have the opportunity to gain a large amount of experience.

Candidate Specification

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a degree (obtained no earlier than 2023) or are expected to achieve one in the following subjects.

  • Project Management
  • Business Studies or similar

In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest in the role and working at Mott MacDonald through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.

Visa Information

Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision is as a consequence of the changes made to the Skilled Worker route by the UK Government in April 2024. Across our many offices in the UK and Ireland, we offer two types of placement programme: summer placement (8-12 weeks) and industrial placement (6-12 months).
