Junior Design Engineer (Solar)

£25,000-£35,000 + Training + Development + Holidays + Pension

Are you an electrical engineering grad who is looking for a chance to build a career as a design engineer?

Do you want the opportunity to get trained in Solar design and help the UK in the fight against climate change?

This company specialise in the design and installation of ground mount and commercial rooftop solar systems to a large portfolio of clients based all over the UK. They have very close links to the oldest renewable energy company in the South West and have built a very strong reputation within the commercial solar industry which has led them to an exciting period of growth.

In this role you will work alongside the lead design engineer to create CAD designs of commercial PV and battery storage systems that are in line with project specifications. You will work alongside other departments in the business to deliver technical support to sub contractors during the installation phase to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in electrical or renewable energy engineering and be passionate about the renewable energy industry. You will need to have experience using CAD and any experience with PV Syst or PV Sol is advantageous.

The Role:

*Assisting the design team

*Generation of CAD designs for commercial renewable systems

*Office based in Exeter

*£25,000-£35,000 + Training + Development + Holidays + Pension

The Person:

*BSc in Electrical or Renewable energy Engineering

*Would suit a Graduate

*CAD experience is required

*PV Syst or PV Sol is advantageous

*Need to be passionate about renewable energy
