Psychology Graduate (Mental Health Support Assistant) | Job Summary

Contract:

1-Year initial contract starting September 2024 (earlier starts possible)

Salary:

FTE £25,000 [Pro-rata to £18,500 term-time only]

Location:

Mainstream Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham

Pay:

£480 per week | £96 per day | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis

Role:

Support 11-16-year-olds with SEND and SEMH needs

Extensions:

Contract extensions available for those wishing to continue beyond the initial term

Psychology Graduate (Mental Health Support Assistant) | Job Description

Support:

Provide classroom assistance to 11-16-year-olds with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD, and Severe Social Anxieties.

Teaching:

Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups.

Monitoring:

Assess, record, and report on pupil achievement, progress, and development.

Development:

Build core skills and support a strong knowledge base tailored to the individual needs of each pupil.

Relationships:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and families.
