Maths Academic Mentor

Location: Secondary School in Islington

Focus: Supporting KS3 and KS4 students (up to GCSE)

Salary: Approximately £26,413 (pro rata to term time only) | £507.96 per week (including holiday pay)

Responsibilities: Delivering 1:1 and small-group Maths tutoring sessions

Start Date: Interviews available immediately for a September 2024 start

Duration: Position runs until July 2025 initially

Hours: Full-time, Monday

Friday, 8:30 am

4:00 pm

Future Opportunities: Potential to progress onto ITT from September 2025

Maths Academic Mentor Candidate Requirements:

Academic Background:

Highly academic Maths Graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top UK University

Track Record: Excellent GCSE and A-Level results

Skills and Attributes:

Passionate about Maths

Ability to inspire and engage students

Patient and encouraging nature

Adaptable and creative mindset

Determined to make a positive impact
