History Graduate Academic Mentor | Overview

Location:

Secondary School in Lewisham

Role:

Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 History

Compensation:

£100 per day, inclusive of holiday pay | £26,000 per annum (pro rata for term time only)

Responsibilities:

Delivering 1:1 and small-group intervention sessions in History

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 08:15 – 16:15

Interviews:

Immediate availability

Future Opportunities:

Potential progression to ITT starting September 2025

As the History Graduate Academic Mentor, you will possess the following

Education:

First-Class or 2:1 History degree from a top UK University

Academic Excellence:

Strong track record in GCSE and A-Levels

Passion for History:

Ability to convey enthusiasm and engage students

Personal Qualities:

Patient, encouraging, adaptable, creative, and determined to positively impact students’ lives
