About the role

If you’re in your penultimate year of study, this one’s for you. You’ll work with us for three months and get to know everything we do.

First, kick off with a few weeks of bootcamp, where we’ll prepare you to jump into work at Revolut with workshops, lectures, and practical exercises to start working on your skills. After a successful preparation, we’ll launch you into on-the-job training. In this stage, you’ll be face-to-face with tough challenges, problem-solving and tasks to own.

We’re building one of the best Information Security teams to make Revolut the safest place to keep your money – and that’s where you come in. We need an excellent Information Security Analyst to take care of security related events that impact IT systems. A passionate of designing detections, deploying automations, performing threat hunting. Someone with analytical mind and an absolute love for security technologies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Investigate and analyse alerts to determine the nature and severity of potential threats facing the business
  • Developing detections for new threats, and creating response procedures based on security frameworks
  • Developing and deploying security controls for cloud native environments following defined processes
  • Assisting with security changes and product rollouts with impact across the business

What you’ll need

  • Studies in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of information security and network security
  • Passion for cybersecurity; stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
  • Interest in solving cybersecurity challenges such as “capture the flag” or other blue team exercises
  • Love for problem solving and being analytical
  • Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to work effectively alone, and as part of a team

Nice to have

  • Proven track record of strong security interest by solving “capture the flag” challenges, or other “blue team” exercises
  • Coding experience in at least one general purpose language, such as Python
  • Experience with git version control, and modern software engineering tools and frameworks
