Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in Quality Assurance within the Cosmetics/Personal Care Industry?

Do you have a degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Bio-Medical Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related discipline?

We are excited to work exclusively with our client, a leading provider of high-quality cosmetic products at affordable prices. Our client supplies most UK retailers and collaborates with grocers and selected export customers.

They are now looking to strengthen their Quality division with a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate QA Assistant (Cosmetics)

Responsibilities

Assist in the review and approval of new product samples and Gold Seal samples.

Collaborate with internal teams, such as New Product Development (NPD), Supply Chain, and Technical, to support NPD launches and manage the existing product portfolio

Help log and send samples to external laboratories for stability testing, production of a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), and any other required testing.

Update internal and external electronic product information management systems, including the UK Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP) and quality-related database

Engage with suppliers to support internal projects and ensure timely communication.

Monitor supplier accreditation and audit requirements, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliance.

Stay informed about UK and EU industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging quality standards.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards is a plus.

An interest in working with Cosmetic GMP, ISO 22716, ISO 9001, or similar within an FMCG environment.
