For the successful Graduate Engineer our client is offering:

  • Starting salary of £23,000 (£12.11 per hour)
  • Temporary to Permanent position
  • Days based role 8:30am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays – 36.5 hours per week

The Role – Graduate Engineer:

  • Shadowing a Senior Engineer to fully understand the role
  • Carrying out site surveys and investigation
  • Writing up reports
  • Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting tests of existing protection systems
  • Project management
  • Collecting & reviewing data to determine condition of structures under evaluation
  • Involvement in installation projects
  • Travelling across the UK to customers, overseas travel maybe involved as the role develops in time
  • This role will involve travelling away during the week – But not on weekends
  • Commissioning activities

What our client is looking for in a Graduate Engineer:

  • Ability to travel as this position will involve staying away during the week
  • Strong communication skills
  • Our client is looking for somebody with a Degree in either – Mechanical Engineering / Electrical / Chemistry
  • Understanding of CAD software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Keen to learn, this position will be working closely with a more experienced Engineer
  • UK Driving Licence – Essential
