Overview:We are restructuring the help desk; therefore, we are looking for an eager candidate with excellent customer service intuition, and an interest to develop IT skillsets to join us as an apprentice to support the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-scaling business with a clear path of career progression in Information Technology expanding a vast range of soft and hard skills.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete either the:

1. Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship (qa.com)

2. Cloud Network Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship (qa.com)

Salary:20,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities:

  • First respondent to new tickets (requests and incidents) by phone, email or in-person
  • Assigning the priority of tickets
  • Fulfilling client requests and resolving their technical issues
  • Assisting senior engineers
  • Administrative tasks

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 40 hours per week, 8:00am until 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

90% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.
