Graduate Teaching Assistant

Seeking a graduate teaching assistant to work alongside children and class teacher and has a interest in either music and the arts, sports or languages and enjoys working with children.

Ideally suit someone that has a BA degree from Uk or overseas university or alternatively vocational training qualification. This is a permanent term time only position and will provide paid school holidays.

Starting salary: £21,000- £22,000pa + 12 weeks paid holiday, further training, and career progression opportunities.

Job Description:

Duties and responsiblities include assisting teacher within the classroom, working with children, planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children, playing games and supervising play, music classes, carrhing out art work with children, sports, additional lanuguage classes, ensuring safety and well being of children at all times and following safeguarding policies and procedures, assisting children on trips to places of interests like nature walks, art gallaries and museums, concerts.
