Job DescriptionGraduate/Junior QA Tester, Oxford, Hybrid 2/3 days a week in office, Up to £25,000Note: this role do not offer sponsorshipAre you passionate about ensuring quality in software development? We are currently seeking a Junior QA Tester to join a dynamic and growing team in Oxford working closely within the team of product and developer specialists.As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs and issues, and helping to ensure that our products meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with developers and other team members to ensure that all aspects of our software are thoroughly tested and ready for release.This is ideal for a candidate who has just completed a computer science, technology degree or related field.ResponsibilitesContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the QA, application support, and product operations functions Training and DevelopmentProvide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in QA practices and application support management Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with other teams such as development, product management, and customer support to ensure alignment and collaboration on product quality and support issues Vendor ManagementManage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and support for the productRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality and support operations, ensuring minimal impact on customers and business operations.The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of QA testing processes. Some experience with software testing tools and methodologies is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
