My client designs and manufactures bespoke mechanical products. They are looking for a Graduate Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Essex on a permanent basis.

The Graduate Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Degree BSc / BEng qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Passion for engineering and happy to work in a “hands on” role
• Have the ability to carry out mechanical calculations
• Any previous experience working with machinery and automated systems would be beneficial
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Be keen to develop with a company long term
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office

The Graduate Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

• Maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment
• Fault finding on machinery
• Liaising with manufacturing providers
• Inputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMs
• Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
